Dominican Republic minimum wage
The Dominican Republic has no single national minimum wage: the Comité Nacional de Salarios (Ministerio de Trabajo, per Arts. 452-464 of the Código de Trabajo and Decreto 512-97) fixes a MATRIX of monthly minimums for the sector privado no sectorizado tiered by COMPANY SIZE (grandes/medianas/pequeñas/micro empresas), plus separate sectoral scales (zonas francas, hotels/casinos, restaurants, security guards, field workers). This series carries the LOWEST non-sectorized monthly rate (microempresas).
| Current value | 16993.2 DOP/month (lowest non-sectorized tier — microempresas; see notes for full matrix) |

Phase 2, effective 1 Feb 2026 (monthly, DOP): grandes empresas 29,988.00; medianas 27,489.60; pequeñas 18,421.20; microempresas 16,993.20 (the value shown). Company-size criteria (Art.
