Series that cannot exist everywhere

fx-reference— 3 of 8. Countries that run their own currency and publish an official daily reference fixing. This is the fleet's largest genuine gap: roughly a hundred central banks qualify and twenty-five are wired, because each bank's redistribution terms have to be cleared individually before its rates can be republished.sales-tax— 1 of 1. Countries that levy sub-national sales tax instead of a national value-added tax. The United States is the only one: its rates are set by state (and by county and city beneath that), which is why this series carries subdivisions rather than a single national rate. Everywhere else the equivalent charge is a national VAT or GST and is served as `vat`.
